Builder Members

My name is Mark Hill and I have lived in LaPorte all my life and am married to my wife Lesa with three children, Rachel, Jake and Leeann. I have been building and remodeling for over thirty years experiance of which I have my own business for over 10 years. I am a member of the LaPorte County Home Builders Association and had served on the Board of Directors. I am an active member of St. Johns Lutheran Church and currently serving on the Board of Trustees.

I have taught at New Prairie High School for 25 years.  I have taught several different areas over the years.  I started at Marian High School teaching Architecture and Small Engines.  I then went to Kesling Middle School In Laporte and taught Construction.  At New Prairie I have taught Metalworking, Drafting, Architecture, Electricity, Woodworking, and now teach Construction and Building Trades. 

I am married to my wife Jenny for the last 11 years.  We have 4 daughters Cassandra, Jaden, Anastasia and Lilly.  We live in New Carlisle.

I Have been in the B.A.L.C. for 10 years.  I have been on the Board of Directors for 2 years.

I feel the organization has helped me become a better builder and teacher through networking with other professionals and several conferences and speakers over the years.
